Here is the Daddy bird visiting his babies. He comes around often and perches on the top of our trampoline. Then he calls to them, they perk up and call back, then he swoops in to feed them. If we startle him, he flies around to the trees surrounding our house but continues to call to his babies. This just causes them to go nuts calling back to him!!
At least we know both parents are doing their duty in carrying for their youngsters!
Baby birds react to their Daddy calling to them by immediately craning their necks upward and opening their mouths! (From the yucky bird poop everywhere, they must be fed well.)
Another picture of the babies shows they are growing and more feathers are coming in.
